Advertising Sales Planner at Phunware

Job Summary:

The Sales Planner will work closely with sales, account management, operations, and marketing to strategize about, develop and operationalize mobile advertising campaigns. This position will ideate and implement innovative campaign tactics while leveraging our value proposition surrounding a best in class quality and service experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills while working closely and constructively with all areas of the business.

Responsibilities: 

  • Execute, complete and fulfill request for proposals (RFPs)
  • Serve as the liaison between the sales team and all other departments in the creation and development of ad campaigns
  • Uncover and address client needs while highlighting the value and capabilities of Phunware
  • Proactively monitor mobile landscape and identify trends/partners for upcoming campaigns
  • Handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines under pressure
  • Support and evolve internal project management processes and tools

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of sales planning / strategy experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to maintain work flow and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in salesforce.com
  • Enthusiasm and interest in marketing and advertising, passionate about brands, understanding of sales process
  • Quick self-learner, problem-solver and solutions-oriented

Desirable:

  • Mobile experience a strong plus
  • Experience with ad serving systems (ad network or SSP)
